Using music we use popular topics to explore the world around us. Through storytelling and interesting facts, 5s-7s can engage their natural curiosity, imagination and enthusiasm.
These books were originally written and delivered for after-school music clubs as they were created for UK primary infants, but could easily be used for in-class music lesson ideas. Combine them with topical crafts, add theme-related snacks, create themed obstacle courses, play the game related to the song, teach the ukulele, and even create a final performance, assigning each child a character to represent!
