A progressive, song-led approach to early musical development from birth to age 7
Musicaliti uses a carefully sequenced collection of 90 songs to introduce musical understanding gradually, playfully and developmentally. Drawing on Kodály-informed singing and note progression, Dalcroze-inspired movement and games, and Orff-style percussion and instrumental play, the approach helps children experience music first through the body and voice before transferring musical ideas onto simple instruments.
Each song is adapted across four developmental stages: babies, toddlers, preschoolers and primary infants. This allows the same musical material to return over time with increasing depth, helping children build confidence, memory, musical vocabulary and practical musicianship.
The Musicaliti approach was originally designed as a two-year thematic rolling programme for early years settings and Key Stage 1, supported by original musical stories, seasonal themes, songs, games, movement activities and simple instrumental pathways.
